After lots of buildup and two church Trunk-or-Treats, halloween finally arrived. The kids were so excited! As per our family tradition, we went to Jim's parents house to celebrate Halloween and Bill's birthday. Yes, it was a school day, but everyone needs a break every now and then, right? Besides, if we had stayed home I would have had to take the kids trick-or-treating by myself since Jim had school in Fort Myers, and I wasn't quite up for that joyful experience.
Jason and Abby and their kids met up with us for Trick-or treating again this year, which we always look forward to. Zoie loves seeing her friend Elizabeth.

Our kids (the older ones) have now reached the point where one neighborhood of candy isn't enough, so Jim and Will drove them over to the next one to get more loot. Needless to say we have candy coming out our ears. We may be giving candy away as Christmas presents this year. :)
