Nolan's b-day party!

So it only took about a month after his birthday passed but we finally had a actual party for Nolan. It worked out good since my mom was in town for it. We decided to meet a few of his friends at the local mini-golf course. There was not anyone else there, so the kids got to run around and play for as long as they wanted without bugging anyone. We played, had cake and presents, and then went home with minimal cleanup. It was great!

Love the beach!

I have to say that the best part about living in Florida is the beach. I would go every week if it was closer. The day before my mom had to fly home we spent one last day at the beach together. It was great. The kids always have such a great time and they wear themselves out which is nice for everyone.

Zoie trying to fill her bucket, only she can't lift it when its full of water.

The kids work so well together....sometimes.

Hi Mom!

Is that a dance move Aidan is doing? I'm not quite sure. He's got the pointed index fingers out that are essential for all good dance moves. I don't know where that move originated from, but it keeps reappearing in all my kids.

SO cute...except for the nice shiner. We're still not sure how that happened.

Calling all bloggers...

Help please, I have tried everything I can think of and I cannot figure out why our blog now has all of our stuff at the bottom instead of on the side. Anyone know what I need to do to fix this? It's really bugging me. I have tried changing the layout, the background, and even playing around with the HTML. I don't know what else to do...post a comment or email me if you have any suggestions. Thanks!

Cruisin' for dolphins

My mom and I wanted to try something new so we went on a dolphin cruise while she was here. It was fun, although the dolphins were not really cooperating. This is the best pic I got of a dolphin. I should be a professional photographer...

In case you can't tell, the tiny black spot in the water is a dolphin.
At least we had a table to sit at. It was actually pretty relaxing until the cruise director kept yelling at us over the intercom system. I guess as a group we were not enticing the dolphins well enough (the dolphins supposedly respond to a lot of noise), so then people were frantically running all around the boat whistling and shouting for the dolphins.
We paid good money to (I thought) sit back, relax and enjoy the playful dolphins as they jump and entertain us... turns out we were the ones who were supposed to put on the show for the dolphins. Who knew? I think it may have all been a ploy so the crew could laugh at the crazy tourists who'll do whatever you tell them to.
Still looking for dolphins....
My Mom and I did not get quite as crazy as the rest of the tourists on the boat.
It may be our fault the dolphins weren't cooperating.

The home I have chosen for my future life. Ha! Matching hats, aren't we cute?
The cruise ship...nice!

Watch out for panthers

This is my mom's favorite sign when she comes to Florida, she thinks it's funny. Every year when she comes she takes a picture of it and they never turn out, so this year we actually pulled over on the side of the road and I took one too. So mom this is for you in case your's didn't turn out again. By the way, I have never heard of anyone actually seeing a panther anywhere in the vicinity of this sign. I think its just been there forever, and they won't take it down. (the panthers have probably learned by now not to cross there, ha ha)

Zoie's tiny baby

When my mom came she brought a gift for Zoie from Todd, Julie and the kids and it was so cute. It is a little purse that opens up and has a baby inside and the purse changes into a baby bed. Combining two things that Zoie loves, purses and babies. It was perfect. I thought these pictures of her opening it were so cute so I had to post them. They came out as sort of a play by play of Zoie opening the purse.

Thanks guys!
