Happy 4th! (or 5th) (actually 29th)
For the 4th of July this year we actually went over to a friends house for dinner and then watched the fireworks in their backyard, but dumb me didn't get any pictures. So the following night on the 5th, we celebrated on our own with our (you know it) Wal Mart special 19.99 fireworks. Yup, the same ones we get every year. Why break the trend now? It's becoming tradition.
Eclipse
So yes, I am one the crazy people who went to see Eclipse at midnight on the day it came out. But I definitely do not consider myself a Twilight freak.
A group of girls and I went to the Twilight experience and we watched all three movies in a row starting at 6:30pm and ending at 2:00am. It was a lot of fun and I am glad my friends talked me into going, but I was so tired by the time Eclipse started that I felt like I didn't really remember much about it after it was over. Well, that has an easy fix, I just went to see it again the following week with Jim. Oh yeah, and again the following week with my Mom who hadn't seen it yet. he he

Happy Birthday Nolan!
Trying to play catch up once again. Nolan's birthday was last month. He had a good day, we invited his friends Bryce and Brandon from Fort Myers up to spend a few days with us.
Blowing out the candles
We went to the pool at the YMCA for somthing fun to do and the kids had a blast going down the slides and jumping off the diving boards.

Blizzard Beach
We decided to get passes for the Disney water parks. There is a special for Florida reisidents but we can only go after 2pm. Works for us though because we can sleep in, eat breakfast and drive over to Orlando and not have to rush. It is a lot of fun and there are 2 different parks to choose from. This time we went to blizzard beach.
On the day we went it was cloudy and rainy and we weren't sure whether we would be able to stay or not. But the rain finally cleared up and it was awesome because most people left so it wasn't crowded and there weren't any lines for any of the slides.
Here is Aidan on the slide

Cub Scout Day Camp
Nolan had his second year of day camp this year. He was so excited, and he had such a great time. I volunteered for the first 3 days so I was able to get a few pics of him. Unfortunately I was not assigned to be his den leader so I wasn't able to get many of him doing his activities.
The camp was over flag day so they had a big flag day celebration in which they retired and burned the old camp flag and then put up a new one. The Mayor and a congressman were there. If you have good eyesight, Nolan is in this picture next to the ROTC guy on the left.
Another visit back home.
A few weeks ago we headed down to Fort Myers once again, for a few friend's birthday gatherings. It was so fun. I love being back with all my old friends, it makes it feel like I never moved.
We had a birthday lunch for my friend Jennifer at Carraba'sJennifer and I snuck away from all the crazy kids somehow and were able to meet up at her Mom's pool for a few hours. It was great! The second birthday celebration was for Emily. We had a big girls night at Jen B's house. Jen D, me, and Abby having fun at the party
