We had Nolan's baptism on the Friday after his birthday, and it turned out great. Our friends the Ojukwu's came down from Tampa and we had Jim's family and lots of friends from our ward there as well. After the baptism we had everyone over to our house for some refreshments and cake to celebrate. We are so thankful for Nolan and his decision to be baptized. We love him so much and we know that he is a great example to his younger brother and sister, and his friends.

Nolan: It's great to be 8!
I can't believe my first baby is 8 years old.....crazy! For his baptism I made a slideshow of pics of him growing up, so I thought I'd post some for those of you who couldn't make it.
Happy Birthday Nolan!
Nolan had his big birthday this year too, he turned eight! As always the celebrations spanned over several days, especially with his baptism being one of them. He is such a great kid and we are so happy to have him blessing our lives.
On Nolan's b-day we did presents at home with the family, then we met some friends at a park in fort myers.
Then it was on to Bill and Elaine's house for the next round of presents, and of course cake!
The big 3-0....
So it has finally happened (unfortunately). I can no longer claim to be a twenty something, I have now entered the dreaded thirties... sigh... I guess it can't be stopped. All in all it was not too bad.
Jim's awesome parents watched the kiddos for the weekend so that he and I could take off for some alone time in Orlando. We were supposed to take a cruise for the big day, but I won't go there....
Disney World was fun, it is surprising how much more you can see, and how much faster you can ride all the rides without 3 kids in tow. We bought annual passes so we'll be able to go back with the kids sometime later this year. It was actually really nice because Disney has a special this year where you get in free for your birthday, but since we bought annual passes they gave me a gift card worth $75 to spend at Disney instead of the free admission. I still need to use that....

Here are some pics of the trip.
They are out of order because I am too lazy to move them all around.
I'm no photographer but I thought this picture from epcot turned out really good
Jim riding a segway. We decided to try the food in Morrocco for lunch at Epcot. It was pretty good.
Let's play where's Tiffany. Can you spot me in the pic below?

Jim in front of the mission to mars simulator ride. We both felt a little sick after that one.
On the night of my birthday we met Jim's sister Keri and her boyfriend Berk for Dinner at Moon Fish. It was soooooo good. They even were nice enough to write happy birthday on my dessert plate.
Here is our food, there was so much, but it was so yummy! We went a little crazy having sushi, a main course, and dessert, but we figured I'll only turn 30 once right? (hopefully)
All of us at dinner
We had to laugh at Berks food...it was a whole fish. Head, tail, bones and all.
Keri and Berk
Jim and I at Downtown Disney
The night before my b-day we decided that we refused to go to bed and be sleeping at midnight so we went to Planet Hollywood in downtown disney. Just because I'm about to be 30 doesn't mean I can't stay up late...ha ha (notice how tired we look?)
Here I am in front of the Tower of Terror ride.
