What's the point of THAT??
When we were driving home from Orlando a few weeks ago we saw this guy we could not believe that he had his helmet riding in it's own special spot on the back of the bike instead of on his head. Seriously, what is that point of even having a helmet if you are not going to wear it? Maybe he was going for the wind blown look, or maybe he just wanted to feel the wind in his hair before his hair is completely gone.

A new pretty(er) view
We have had a dead spot in our yard for quite a while and we decided to try to make it look better by planting a few things there. We bought some plants from Home Depot then brought them home where they proceeded to sit in our garage for two weeks before they made the journey to the yard. It turns out it's hard to dig up grass even if it's dead in some spots, but luckily after a little while reinforcements showed up and I had some help.
The lost is found
So I found my camera, yea! Actually it was about a week ago but I have been to lazy, oops I mean BUSY to post anything. So you may be wondering where my camera was... or not really, but I honestly can't tell you because it just showed up one day. I was talking about how I couldn't find it and Aidan said I know where it is, then he left the room and came back seconds later with the camera in his hand. It turns out my camera had some adventures while it was away here is a look....

There really were an insane amout of pictures of scooby doo on the camera but I decided to spare you from viewing all of them. It's alway funny when I upload pictures from the camera onto the computer because there are almost always a few suprises.

Where, oh where, has my little camera gone?
I know I have been awful at blogging this year, but I now have a good excuse because our camera is lost. I have no idea where it is and it's driving me crazy. It was in the van and I brought it in to take pics of the kids playing in the sprinkler and I haven't seen it since, and no, I didn't leave it outside ...(I already checked). So who knows when I'll have something new to post but I just wanted to let everyone know what's up. Oh, and if you see my camera anywhere please let me know.
PS Also, if you see my mind anywhere please let me know because I am pretty sure I may have lost that somewhere along the way as well....

More baseball pics
Here are some pictures from Nolan's practice. They were taken at his night practice on Tuesday so they're not great...but oh well. We were all freezing because it was cold and really windy. The coach even ended practice early since it was so cold. Now, I realize that cold here is not the same as anywhere else but for us it was pretty bad. I have a theory that 50 degrees here is more like 40 anywhere else because of the humidity and the wind....anyone agree? ha ha, probably not
It's that time of year again
Baseball season is back....I can feel the dread setting in already. This year we have two in it because Aidan is finally old enough to play. So that means that two nights a week and Saturdays we are at the ball field...joy! Last year Aidan wanted to play so badly, but of course now that we have paid the money and he's on a team he's not as into it. We spend about half of practice just trying to get him to go out and play. Jim decided to coach this year as well so he is the assistant coach on Nolan's team and the head coach on Aidan's. With school, work, church and baseball he is definately keeping busy.
Here is Aidan messing around instead of joining the practice.

nice outfit for working in the yard, no?
The finished product. For all you non-Floridians these plants may not look like much but they are (hopefully) hardy enough to survive the Florida weather and my not-so-green thumb.

Poor Zoie all bundled up.

Here is me, happy as ever to be spending time at the ball field on a Saturday.
